The coiled rattan supports the dough as it rises, draws moisture away from the surface and leaves the signature concentric rings when you flour it directly.

Use it with the cloth liner for a smooth crust, or without the liner for the traditional ringed finish. At 25 cm it is sized for a standard home loaf and fits comfortably in a Dutch oven after turning out.

Features

Oval coiled rattan basket, 25 cm

Cloth liner included (as pictured)

Wicks moisture for a crisper crust and better oven spring

Reusable season after season with basic care

Suits sourdough, rye, spelt and white loaves

Size & Measurements

Measurement

cm

inches

Oval basket (L × W × H)

25 × 15 × 8

9.8 × 5.9 × 3.15

Material

Natural rattan cane basket with fabric liner (supplier lists material as PP – natural cane look as pictured)

Care

Flour well before every use

Brush or tap out flour after use; never soak the basket

Air dry fully before storing

Hand wash the liner only

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0730/6562/7877/files/1774410180643a10241511da1dd0937868945c396e.webp?v=1793470275
https://www.munchieshouse.com/ar/products/oval-banneton-proofing-basket-25-cm-natural-rattan-sourdough-basket-with-liner
