Ingredients
Sugar, wheat flour, chocolate chips (12%) (sugar, vegetable fat, cocoa powder, emulsifier, natural vanilla flavor) corn starch, vegetable emulsifiers, skimmed milk powder, leavening agents, salt, vanillin.
Preparation Instructions
1. Prepare the Batter:
- In a large bowl, combine the muffin mix, water, oil (or butter), and eggs.
- Beat on low speed for 1 minute, then increase to medium speed and beat for another minute.
- Pour the batter into the muffin pan.
2. Prepare the Oven and Pan:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place paper baking cups into each of the 12 muffin wells, or grease the muffin cups and lightly flour them, or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
3. Bake the Muffins:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes.
- The muffins are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
4. Cool the Muffins:
- Allow the muffins to cool for 5 minutes in the pan before removing them.
- If you didn’t use paper cups, run a knife around the edges of the muffin cups to carefully remove the muffins.
- Cool completely before storing.
