Original Cheddar Cheese Sauce Powder

Follow the instructions for the size you are preparing:

• 75g (retail pack): mix the contents with 1 cup (240ml) of boiling water in a saucepan and whisk for 1 minute until smooth — makes about 315g of sauce (7 servings of 1/4 cup). Serve immediately.
• 225g: blend 225g of dry sauce mix with 720g (3 cups) of cold water, bring to a boil in a saucepan while stirring, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 1 minute — makes about 945g of sauce.
• 1kg (foodservice): empty the full pack into a large bowl, add 3 liters of boiling water and whisk well until smooth (an electric hand mixer gives the best results), let it sit for 1 minute, stir again and serve warm — makes about 4 kg of sauce. For a thicker sauce use 2.7 liters of boiling water.
• 20kg (bulk): 60 L of boiling water (same ratio as 1kg + 3 L) — makes about 80 kg of sauce.

Reheating: Place leftover sauce in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat 30 seconds, stir, heat another 30 seconds. Stir well and enjoy.

Storage: Prepared sauce can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Store the powder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
