Oval Banneton Proofing Basket 25 cm – Natural Rattan Sourdough Basket with Liner

Description

A single oval banneton for the final proof of batards and oval country loaves. The coiled rattan supports the dough as it rises, draws moisture away from the surface and leaves the signature concentric rings when you flour it directly.

Use it with the cloth liner for a smooth crust, or without the liner for the traditional ringed finish. At 25 cm it is sized for a standard home loaf and fits comfortably in a Dutch oven after turning out.
