Description
Know exactly when food is ready in a few seconds. This instant-read thermometer has a long stainless steel probe that folds away into the body - unfold it and the thermometer switches on, fold it back and it switches off. The clear LCD shows the temperature almost immediately, so you can check steaks, roasts, chicken and fish without letting heat escape from the oven or grill.
It is just as useful for baking and pastry: check milk for yoghurt and coffee, water for yeast and bread dough, sugar syrup and caramel, melted chocolate and deep-frying oil. A calibration function keeps readings accurate, the probe rotates through 180° for awkward angles, and a hanging loop keeps it close at hand.
